I am not a pro homosexual person. I know people that chose to be in same sex relationships, I even consider some of them friends. Do I think that they were born that way? Nope. Not one of them.
I do think that they have suffered from some sort of trauma that caused them to react by rejecting the heterosexual sex they should have.
Let the hate mail begin.
First, homosexuality is not nearly as common as one would expect it to be. I don't watch television and I cannot escape the pervasive agenda to make homosexuality normal. It isn't that common at all. In the most recent survey that I could find, 2.4% of the population identified as homosexual. That comes out to 6450760.12 people. Yes, you read that right. Less than 6.5 million people have decided that the rest of us must accept their choices. Or else.
It helps that B.O. has lost every other demographic and must now go mining for someone, anyone to still think of him favorably. Pathetic. I have friends that think of it as a tolerance issue. How nice for them. There is a pizza shop in Indiana that could tell you all about the 'tolerance' they received when they refused to cater a homosexual event. There is also a florist that went out of business after being overwhelmed with "tolerance" for having an opinion about homosexuality that didn't sit well with those who would shove it down our throats.
When researching the numbers for this, I read countless studies about the actual number of homosexuals. I discounted every study that included prison experiences. No offense to our incarcerated population, but the idea that the prisons can give us an accurate count of the amount of homosexuals in our country is laughable.
When I would run across a pro homosexual study, it would almost always tout the number 10 %. And that number is accurate so long as you include those who had homosexual relationships while confined to jail cells and never had a homosexual encounter after that. Just give me the data, I don't need outliers in the numbers.
It would be the same as polling right outside a McDonald's to find out how many meat eaters we have in our country.
So now that we are looking at the real numbers- about 2.4%, we can destroy another liberal meme about homosexuality. It is nothing like the civil rights movement. People of all sorts were discriminated against-blacks, Asians, even Irish. I have often said that Catholicism is one of the few religions it is acceptable to disparage. Sexual orientation is not a protected status. At least it shouldn't be. Make your choices and live with them. I shouldn't have to bake you a cake for your dress up party if it's my business. Find another baker who wants to. See how easy that was?
In several studies of twins that I was able to find in nanoseconds (thanks Internet!) only half of the maternal twins in the comprehensive study were both homosexual. How can that be if homosexuality is something that you are "born " with? In the case of maternal twins, they are exactly the same biologically speaking. An exact match if you will. Only in half of the cases were both twins homosexual. That shoots down the idea that anyone is born that way. You can't argue with the numbers.
Live your life. If you chose to be a homosexual, good for you. But it doesn't make you a protected class of folks, and you don't get more rights than other people get. If you have a partner and want to protect them-make a will. Get insurance and name them as the beneficiary. See how easy that was?
If you want to have a dress up day and decide to have the same last name, then fine. But you aren't married, you are delusional if you think that you are. It takes one of each. If you think I'm wrong then the two of you should go make a baby and prove to me and science that we're wrong. Oh, you can't? I guess that just like marriage- making a baby takes one of each. Think about it, you'll thank me later.
