The Terrorists are/were Muslim and the MSM Got It Wrong. Who is Surprised?

Obama, Homeland "Security" and Big Sis allowed more people to die. They used political correctness as a weapon, and no surprise-more innocent people are dead. They have missed many terrorists in the last five years. How many is that? When you factor in the people that B.O. has killed in Fast and Furious, you are starting to look at some Bundy like numbers. 
Of course, B.O. hit the ground running after a crazy person slaughtered his mother and many others at his school.  It was very convenient in that it fit his agenda perfectly. Right as I am typing this, the Senate is proposing legislation that would greatly alter one of the two best pieces of literature in the world, that is the United States Constitution. The implications have been giving me nightmares.
Of course the msm has been only too happy to oblige by running every sad story ( real or fabricated) that they can find. The Senate ran a marathon of sad stories yesterday in an attempt to demolish our Second Amendment Rights.
But surprise! It turns out that those two pieces of fecal matter were both members of the religion of peace. Go figure.  Of course, the msm has been twisting itself in self imposed censorship to avoid labeling the terrorists as muslim. Had they been a couple of white Tea Party members (as the msm was fervently hoping) they would be screaming it from the mountain tops. The same batch that tried to blame Gabby Giffords shooting on a map with targets on it, screwed up again.  The same batch that have under reported every story that puts b.o. or his agenda in a bad light.  Do you know who Kermit Gosnell is?  You won't if you get your "news" from the msm.  Turn off your television if you want the information to be uncensored. ABC, NBC, CNN,CBS, and to a lesser degree FOX , all have agendas. Figure out what it is and you'll thank me later.

Jimmy Carter- Multi-Generational Incompetence

March 1, 1954  four terrorists unfurled a Puerto Rican Flag  in the viewing chamber of the United States House of Representatives, and then opened fire with hand guns.  These terrorists were  Lolita Lebrón, Rafael Cancel Miranda, Andres Figueroa Cordero, and Irving Flores Rodríguez. The 240 Representatives of the 83rd Congress, who were debating an immigration bill that these people perceived at a threat to the status of Puerto Rico. Five Representatives were wounded, one seriously, but all recovered. These terrorist were arrested, tried and convicted in federal court, and given long sentences, effectively life imprisonment. In 1978 and 1979, they were pardoned by the second worst President in American history- Jimmy Carter. All four returned to Puerto Rico.
These four terrorists were no doubt angered by their perceived treatment of  Puerto Rico.  The March 2 New York Times reported that the nationalists “shouted for the freedom of their homeland as they fired murderously although at random from a spectators’ gallery just above the House floor. … House members at first thought the sounds were those of firecrackers. But as their colleagues fell or took cover as they heard the slugs hit around them, all realized what was happening.”

Particular attention was given to Ms. Lebron, who was dressed stylishly with high heels and bright red lipstick. “Piercing the confusion were the screams of the Puerto Rican woman: ‘Viva Puerto Rico!’ She emptied the chambers of a big Luger pistol, holding it in her two hands, and waving it wildly. Then she threw down the pistol and whipped out a Puerto Rican flag, which she waved but never did manage to unfurl fully.”
The four shooters were members of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party, an organization that called for full independence for Puerto Rico, which has been under United States control since the end of the Spanish-American War in 1898.
This same group of terrorists also tried to assassinate Harry Truman.  Jimmy Carter pardoned them in an effort to get the freedom of United States hostages that were being held in Cuba.
Is there any doubt that this man was the living, breathing definition of incompetence?  The efforts to "rehabilitate" his reputation that the msm engages in would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic.

Is it any wonder that Iran believed they could hold our hostages for as long as they wanted to with no fear of recrimination from "Jimmah"?  He may have been a decent man.  He may yet be one, but his skill as a President is non existent.  Thank God that he didn't set the precedent that Slick Willie has of popping up in the news every time there is an opportunity for a photo op.

It was his grandson who found and released the footage of Mitt Romney telling a fundraiser that 47% of people are on some kind of assistance and have no interest in losing the gravy train, or words to that effect.  Even though it is true, the msm finally had a "gotcha moment" and hammered it until it died.  There are many that believe this was the event that gave b.o. the margin of victory. (Of course those districts with 104% turnout didn't hurt, either.)
I haven't found a liberal with our Republic's best interest at heart.  If I find one, I'll let you know and you can thank me later.

Impatience + Stubborn = Staying Home Then

Anyone who has read more than three of my blogs knows that I am not a patient person.  When you add to that lovely brew a pretty wide stubborn streak, I am sometimes accused of being unreasonable.  Not that I would agree, of course.
Earlier this week ( three days ago) I had asked a person who probably doesn't want me to use his name if he wanted to go to the movies.  On Tuesday a movie is only five dollars, and frankly I wanted the popcorn more than the movie.  There isn't a movie playing right now that is worth eight dollars for me to see.  So anyway, he doesn't want to go on Tuesday.  He counter offers with Thursday.  I said no thanks, for the earlier reason.  How about if we just grab a dvd and eat popcorn at your house, I suggested.  Well, that didn't suit him because he had some errands to run and I'm sure he had some other reason that I am unaware of at this time.
Fast forward to today. Friday.  We got three inches of snow last night, the sky is grey and mostly I would  just want to watch a movie at home.  I have access to hundreds of them from my store.  It's Friday and this is Lent.  So I'm thinking a grilled cheese sandwich, bowl of tomato soup and a dvd, right?  No sense in getting out in the slop, easy peasy, what can go wrong?
Well for some reason, he doesn't want to go to his house and watch a movie, he wants to go out.  In the slop, fighting crowds, to over pay for a movie and eat a meal that I can't enjoy.
I try to be accommodating, I really do.  I mostly stifle my impatience with people.  Since I work with the public, I don't have much of a choice.  But I don't think that I am wrong about this.  And when I think that I am right, I dig in.
If I do go, I won't enjoy myself.  I'll be cranky and snippy and why would I do that to someone else?  I genuinely like this guy, or at least I did before all of this crap.  Maybe there is something going on with him that I don't know about.  I don't expect to be the center of every one's universe, but I don't think asking for a quiet, simple night out is all that terrible either.  Who knows?
Turns out that I am staying home tonight.  I have a book I, Judas by Taylor Caldwell and Jess Stearn that I have been reading.  I'll make my grilled cheese and mutter to myself for the better part of the evening.  I will probably not answer my phone later, and I'll be in a bad mood tomorrow no doubt.
I have reconsidered, but I am not changing my mind.  There are some days when I just want to stay away from people.  This looks like one of those days.  So avoid me today and tomorrow.  You'll thank me later.

Wouldn't It Be Great if the Media Did Their Job?

I don't have a television in my home-I think I have said that many times.  I gave up on the msm after the first go around with B.O.  I get the majority of my news from the internet (thanks algore) and from other sources.   It's because of this that I am acutely aware of how often a tragedy is averted by someone who is in lawful possession of a firearm.
I cannot count how many home invasions, murders, rapes and robberies I have read about online that were stopped because someone in or near the problem had a firearm.  Almost daily someone sends me a link to a story about a woman stopping a home invasion with a gun, rifle, or shotgun.  I don't know if they have high capacity clips, but since that genius Diane Feinstein can't even tell a rifle from a shot gun from a clip, I don't worry about it too much.
But the big question that I have is- why aren't the major networks covering these stories?  I can understand why CBS,ABC,NBC,CNN, and MSNBC (  I know, I said major, and MSNBC averages what? 273 viewers) ignore the story that doesn't fuel their narrative, but what is going on with FOX News?  I used to count on them for unbiased reporting, but they seem to be spiking the stories as well.  True, I hear more from them in a day than I do the other four plus MSNBC, but they aren't covering a tenth of the stories that are being reported.  Why is that?
But FOX News aside, why won't the media simply tell me what is happening and then let me decide for myself how I feel about it?  I don't need a slant or an angle.  I was pretty sure  three days into a year of reporting that Trayvon Martin would still be alive if he had decent parents that made him accountable for his actions.  George Zimmerman is still going through a living hell because Martin's parents were too busy doing who knows what to parent their child.
The media started with that ridiculously misleading picture of an adorable urchin when in fact Martin was a hulking behemoth felony waiting to happen.The msm didn't tell me about his robbery tools or his marijuana problems.  They did feel the need to dig up any person within the last fifteen years who may have had something bad to say about George Zimmerman.  They also felt the need to edit the news by lying about what was said in 911 calls.
Fast forward a year and you see the same bunch of propagandists trying to tell me that there was heckling in Newtown, Connecticut press conference.  Don't get me started on the coverage that they have given  Tea Party demonstrations.  I am still waiting for someone to claim the reward by producing the footage of a Tea Party Member using a racial slur toward a Congressman.  Considering that there were over fourteen cameras running at the time, you would think that someone could have dug the information up and pocketed one hundred thousand dollars by now.
But the msm isn't doing their jobs.  They are mostly so left of center as to be Government sponsored propagandists.  Look all over for your information, and don't trust any of it one hundred percent.  You'll thank me later.

The Sequester is Coming! The Sequester is Coming! Run for Your Lives! Oh.....Wait a Sec......

B.O. has thrown a world class hissy fit and closed down our White House to tours by school children.  Many of these school children have worked and saved for over a year to be able to afford the trip to Washington D.C and visit the buildings that they and the rest of us who are citizens own.  Many of them have sacrificed and worked many car washes and bake sales to get there.  Too bad, I guess.
B.O. has decided to make a lesson out of them and deny them access because of the gigantic, life threatening, horrendous sequester cuts of-wait for it- 2.4 percent!!!   
Can you cut almost three cents out of a dollar when you are broke and still manage to lead a productive life?  Does that three cents cause you untold hardship so that you cancel your electric service, and possible other things you have come to rely on?  Do you immediately starve? Do you stop buying medicine that you might need on a daily basis?  Or do you suck it up and realize that the three cents wasn't really needed in the first place?  Guess which one the husband of the yeti is trying?
I heard many many many horror stories of people who were going to be denied the very basics of life because Congress was actually following through on the sequestration that was Obama's very own idea!  I watched countless stories about people who would be homeless, dying on the street, or left for dead, simply because the Government had to tighten it's belt by almost three cents.
I read about those poor, underpaid, dedicated, hard working government leaches,  workers who were going to have to go without pay for one day a week every two weeks.  I lose sleep worrying about how they are going to live with 2.4 % less of the eighty grand that they are being paid. Oh the humanity!
And now we see that the next round of sequestration is geared up, and low and behold! The democrats and B.O. have both produced a budget!  It must be leap year, because that only happens every four years also!
Of course, B.O.'s budget was two months late (it's so hard to fit in work when you have to take a vacation every month) and if it follows the patter of his other "budgets" it won't even get one single vote on the floor, not even from his own party.
 The Senate on the other hand, have produced a budget that spouts more red than a Nightmare on Elm Street movie marathon.  The senate brain trusts who defecated this piece of crap have projected deficits of twelve TRILLION dollars!  That is trillion with a t. Are they drunk, stoned, stupid, or retarded?  I'm afraid it might be a lethal mixture of them all.
Call your elected officials and demand they they grow a pair and follow through on these miniscule cuts.  They are better than nothing, and at least they are a start.  If we keep going at this rate, we can have a balanced budget in 16 years.  Or they could pass Paul Ryan's budget, but ol' Harry will never even bring it up for a vote, so there you go.
Think about taking the Senate out of his incompetent hands in 2014.  You'll thank me later.
