Illegal in Mexico

The Supreme Court struck down an Arizona law that required people to prove that they are an American before they can vote.  What was their tortured logic?  There is already a law like that in the federal laws, so the Arizona law wasn't needed.  Riiiiight.
Is there a cognizant person alive today who doesn't know that B.O. stole the last election?  From voter suppression to carrying 100% of the vote in districts in Pennsylvania to receiving  108% of the vote in districts in Ohio (not too surprisingly, the states with suspicious ballot issues are all states with many electoral votes up for grabs) there is widespread evidence that B.O. simply took his Chicago style vote machine tactics onto a national scale.
When it was proven that Kennedy had in fact stolen votes in the election vs. Nixon- the media yawned.  Kennedy was their golden boy.  That is, when he wasn't enjoying one of his numerous peccadillos with mob connections, using drugs excessively to control his lower back pain, or trading Marylin Monroe to his younger brother, of course.  For the msm to write anything that would cast Kennedy in a bad light would be the same as being ex-communicated.  They just wouldn't take the chance.
But the so called 'gang of eight' came up with an asinine plan to let the millions of illegals in our country stay by paying a fine, and receiving a brisk slap on the risk.  They even tricked the leading Senate moron Marco Rubio into being the mouth piece for this stupidity.  I read that Senator Schumer bragged that the liberals would write the legislation and Rubio would write the talking points
.Wow! So Rubio has alienated the very people who put him in office so that the liberals could use him like a sanitary pad and throw him away.  Not a great career move for Mr. Rubio, was it?
If an illegal alien sneaks across the United States border successfully, they are awarded with welfare, a free education for their children, free food, free housing, and living conditions that are fifty times better than the armpit that they left behind them.  Nice deal, no?  Plus- the minute that they drop an "anchor baby" on American soil, they are entitled to a host of benefits all courtesy of those of us who are paying taxes and the bills.
However, if you are caught living in Mexico illegally-or even crossing Mexico illegally to get to the the United States gravy train it is considered a felony.  You will go to a Mexican jail and serve time that is harsher than anything allowed in the United States.
Only people with a marketable skill are allowed to live and work in Mexico.  There is no sneaking into their country and stealing their resources.  If you don't have a job skill that they need, you have zero chance of being allowed there.
 They have quotas, as well.  If the number of immigrants would upset the balance of their racial numbers, then the immigrants are not allowed.  They have a majority of brown people and they mean to keep it that way.
So why doesn't the United States of America simply adopt a mirror and reciprocating immigration policy?  Whatever the country from which the Illegal Alien is coming will be the law that applies to the illegal caught in the United States of America.  Call and ask your elected officials why we don't do that.  You'll thank me later.

...And That's Why I Carried the Ax to Work

I did my friend a favor.  He needed to get rid of some fluorescent bulbs and he asked me to throw them in my trash. I said I would (and no, I don't care if I just released fifteen pounds of carcinogens into the atmosphere) and he gave me an ax to use the handle so that I could break them up.  Not a problem, he's a good friend, I know that he would do the same for me.

I put the bulbs in my trash and then gently tapped them with the handle.  I was wearing safety glasses that protected my face, Momma, and I made sure to wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt.  In about five minutes, the bulbs were broken and my trashcan was set to the curb.  I thought no more about it. 

Today, I remembered to bring the ax back to friend I had done the favor for.  That may be the highlight of my week, so much so, that I start carrying an ax back and forth from work to home.

First, my annoying neighbor with the biting dog snatched that dog inside.  He only got out one half of one annoying yip, and the neighbor had the dog air born.  The last notes of the yip are still hanging in the air like one of those word bubbles in a comic book. (Graphic novel, sorry) I despise the little biting rat.  I laughed out loud.

Next, the crazy neighbor who always talks about something from 1978 suddenly remembered something inside and didn't even call out to me.  I'm thinking that the ax is the best accessory since my keys.  It's not that heavy, and people really do seem to notice it.  The folks who walk two wide on the sidewalk all made a path for me.  It was great.

Finally, at the curb, not one car seemed to have a problem with me walking across the street.  No one rushed into the intersection.  No one stopped ten inches away while I crossed.  No one made eye contact.  It was fantastic!  Kind of like walking in my own little world.  I may have to start bringing an ax back and forth more often.  If you get the chance, try it.
And before I forget, enjoy your Holiday weekend.  Every single time that I look up at the fireworks, I remember displays from times past.  It's my own little time travelling device.  From fireworks in Lake City, Florida to Chicago at Great Lakes Naval Base (where the guy stood in front of the display and took his leg off at the knee) I remember who I was with (once my best friend in the whole world where we traded burgers for beers and another time I was with the first love of my life.) Another great fireworks display was at Disney World.  That was quite possibly the best fire works I have ever seen.  They set them to the 1812 Overture.  Breathtaking.  So celbrate all that is wonderful about our Republic.  Just leave the ax out of your commute.  You'll thank me later.

Online Losers-or A View From Your Mom's Basement

I spend a fair amount of time relaxing by reading online articles and the comments that come after them. I have been known to comment on a piece or five, especially when something incredibly stupid is said.  I have even been drawn into little comment spats, it's a great way to feel better about yourself.  If I couldn't out debate some liberal loser, I would probably have stopped writing this ages ago.  The loser in question that I have been laughing at this week goes by the name Shelley. Now Shelley might be a female, might be male.  I cannot promise human, more likely liberal.
I had posted that I am able to eat for about $1.50 a day and because Shelley clearly went to school in a failing district, this person wasn't able to do the math.  In one of those annoying habits that people think help them win a debate, this person simply posted the same regurgitated talking points over and over. Pathetic comes to mind. So Shelley- here you go, I will explain how it is possible to eat for $1.50 a day.
I buy generic and store brands most of the time, so the cereal that I buy costs $1.99 for about 12 servings.  The almond milk that I drink costs $2.39 for 8 servings. I just had breakfast for $.48
Lunch is hit or miss with me, I usually grab a container of yogurt and a piece of fruit.  The yogurt is the store brand, I but them for $.38.  The fruit usually sets me back about  $.11. I have just spent another $.49 for lunch.  I hope that I haven't lost the logically challenged-like this Shelley- but so far I have spent $.97 to eat for the day.
I work long hours, I have said that many many times.  I am not complaining,(most of the time) I am just putting it out there to explain my life. I am thankful that I have work, especially in B.O.'s economy.  I know a lot of people who are sinking further and further.  But on Sundays, I like to relax by cleaning and cooking.  I also enjoy working in my yard.  I know, I know, I used to be cool.  But I enjoy it, it relaxes me, hush.
On Sundays, quite often I will fix something that I can eat all week.  My Mother has said that she couldn't eat the same thing over and over, but since I just pick the first thing on top in the freezer, it really doesn't matter what I am eating, I'm hungry.  I do all of the shopping for my house, there isn't anything there that I don't like.  But back to Sundays.  Most of them will find me at some point making a huge pot of soup, or some sort of dish that I will eat for the majority of the week.
This past Sunday found me in the kitchen making vegetable soup.  I use a lot of the vegetables that I grow myself and have put up.  So- I added corn, green beans, carrots, celery, and potatoes.  I didn't grow the celery.  To this I added tomatoes, (homegrown) and acorn squash.  I used the largest pot in my house and it'll be supper for at least 8 days. The celery cost me $.14.  I did add salt and pepper, so I am thinking all together, I have soup to eat for an evening meal for at least a week at $.38 a bowl.  So-$1.35 a day to eat and I'm not starving by any means. It can be done, and it's not gruel either.  I don't live on a farm, far from it. Try to grow a garden if you can, even container gardens are better than nothing when you're pressed for space.  And avoid this idiot, Shelley- you'll thank me later.

If Liberals Are So Worried About Child Safety, Why AreThey Pro- Abortion?

I have watched, with mounting nausea, as B.O. surrounds himself with children.  Hitler used the same tactic, you can google pictures that look remarkably similar to the ones that b.o. uses to try and advance his agenda.  I don't buy it.
I think that having  a gun is a much better deterrent than soiling myself, using a "rape whistle" or any of the other stupid,    idiotic,  asinine ideas to come out of the current administration.  I don't think that a person who is hell bent on hurting me or my children will be stopped by me blowing a whistle.  I do think that they would be stopped by me blowing a hole in them.  I'm okay with that.
A group of parents got a free ride (free in that you and I are paying for it) on Air Force One if they were willing to stand on the bodies of their murdered children and moan for gun control.  I am truly sorry for the loss that these people have suffered.  I understand that the need to do something, to be be able to blame someone for this tragedy is overwhelming. But trying to take away my guns, my freedom, my second amendment rights, is not the answer.  Every one of the latest tragedies that have been ginned up by the msm have one common denominator: a crazy person.
Mental health issues have been the deciding factor in Gabriel Giffords being shot, in the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting, and also in the Sandy Hook tragedy.  It wasn't a high capacity clip that killed these people, it was a crazy, insane whackjob with a gun.  Blame the people who should have seen them coming apart at the seams.  Blame the stupidity of having guns around a person who has proven mental issues.  Blame the A.C.L.U.  for making it harder to put insane people in an institution.  But leave my guns alone.  I may be the person to stop the next rampage.  Or it could be someone like me, a person with a concealed carry permit who has the ability, and the will to stop a crazy person with a gun by using their own weapon.
But back to B.O.- he is very, very worried about "the children."  He is afraid for their safety.  He must be, he surrounds himself with "the children" every time he needs another photo op.  So why is he pro-abortion?
B.O. has absolutely no problem with a baby being partially born, and then having a needle inserted into his or her brain. and killed.  He would hate for one of his daughters to be burdened with an unwanted child.  He actually said that.  Of course, having seen how much those two look like their mother, the only way there will be any sort of pregnancy, planned or unplanned, will be with a large bottle of an alcoholic beverage. And a dark room.
So what age is it that a child deserves to be protected from death?  Is it one month? Six?  Because it certainly isn't while they are being born, that's for sure.  According to B.O., they are still a burden at this point.  Maybe it's when they are cute and can pose for pictures.  Yep, I bet that's it.
Think about when a child should be kept safe.  Think about when it becomes murder.  You'll thank me later.

We Cannot Afford Obama

Do you know how you have won an argument with an Obama supporter? The moment they squeal- "Bush did it too!"
Obama is an unmitigated disaster. He doesn't understand how economics works, because he has never, ever held a job that required him to produce something besides hot air.  He doesn't understand how insurance works because he has never had to understand the economics of how insurance pays for things and still provides a profit.
He doesn't understand how energy costs affect the economy because he has never had to worry about how he was going to pay for the gasoline he uses.  He has been coddled, pampered, and generally on the government teat his entire life.  At least, his entire life that is on the public record, there is so very much about Obama that we don't know, and we do not have any advocates in the media who are willing to find out for us.
How did he get into a country that was denied to citizens of the United States? How did he do in school? Why has he (and his wife) surrendered their licenses to practice law?  Why hasn't anyone in the media looked into the hard proof That Sheriff Arpaio provides about the falsification of not only Obama's birth certificate, but also his selective service card? But enough of the great mysteries in life.
Obamacare, or The Patient Affordability Care Act that was rammed without lubricate has caused the cost of insurance and care to rise over 15%.  My premiums alone, have gone up almost 20% and I was told that it would be all things to all people.  I guess, they were full of crap, huh?
We cannot afford Obamacare.  We cannot afford to keep borrowing for his out of control spending habits.  He doesn't want to understand that broke means that you have no more money to spend. Broke means that you do without things, not find more crap to buy.
If the msm was legitimate, they would be screaming this from the rooftops.  Instead, they flood us with the latest Idol winner, the latest blather from the latest pretend celebrity.  On rare occasions, they slip up and tell us what is happening in the world, but then they quickly retreat to the electronic pablum that so many low-information voters have come to rely on.
B.O. stinks. He has no plan to fix anything, he has no ideas that do not include the words "tax the middle class and the wealthy." He doesn't get it.
Years ago, when the msm yawned over the murdered border patrol agent and others who have been murdered from B.O.'s gun running scheme, they showed their true colors. It doesn't matter what B.O. does, they approve. If they can't approve, much like Benghazi, they simply ignore the facts. Contact your elected officials and demand that they keep the pressure on b.o. to follow the Constitution or resign.  You'll thank me later.

Baseline Budgeting is a Big Fat Lie

I admire Paul Ryan. I think he would have been an awesome President, much better than the two who were running, or the one who managed to get 104% of the vote in Cuyahoga County. I have admired his budgets, while wondering why Harry Reid cannot be impeached for failing to bring any budget up in the last six years or so.
His budget that brings us to solvency is great, as a start. But why does it take ten years to do it?  Are you seriously thinking that D.C could follow any budget for ten whole years?  They'll screw it up in two, tops.  Why not get the job done now?  If we had a leader with the testicular fortitude to create a budget that balanced out in five years, I would support that whole heartedly. Think about all of the ridiculous waste you hear about every day. Obamacare would be the first thing on the chopping block. He lied about every aspect of it, and morons and the msm allow him to keep repeating those lies without calling him on it.
Every year, there are reports of all of the government waste.  How about if we start there?  Next, eliminate every dime of foreign aid to places that do not like us.  After that, tell the handful that we are still helping to get ready, because in five years, the gravy train stops.
Eliminate the black hole of money that we waste on the USPS. Privatize the group, I bet it could actually make a profit it they knew that the government teat was no longer going to cushion them.
Bring our troops home, park them on our borders.  If we stopped propping up governments that don't want us there, we might save a trillion or two. Bring every military person out of Germany. Why do you think they are so well off? Because much like Joe Biden charging the secret service detail rent for staying in the house next to him and keeping him safe, Germany charges us to stay there and keep them safe.  Let them know that they are on their own, but if something pops off, be prepared to go in, clean up the problem, and then come home. Simple, huh?
Do the same with every base we have in every country that we support through this military welfare.  The only exception that I would make would be for Israel.  In spite of B.O. they have stood beside us through thick and thin.
De solve the Department of Education. It is useless, and only a clearing house for union graft and stupidity. Thank you Jimmy Carter.
Allow a line by line analysis of the pork in the budget. Remove it.  I know that Harry Reid and many Republicans as well, will have a problem with the stoppage of the gravy train, but our Government is too big, too expensive, too intrusive.
Instead of budgeting so that an increase is factored in, like baseline budgets do, cut programs. Budget so that there are no increases. Budget so that there are decreases. Budget like it was your own money.  You'll thank me later.

Good Thing Nixon Was a Republican

It would seem that someone had bugged the Office of Senator Mitch McConnell.  A recording of his strategy sessions in facing the b list actress Ashley Judd was found.  I would think that bugging a person's room is illegal.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I know that homeland security claims the right to do whatever it is they think that they should be able to do in the interest of "security."  Perhaps Big Sis thought that Ashley Judd carpet bagging her way into a Senate seat in Kentucky was a matter of national security.  She hasn't been able to stop the last few terrorist attacks, so maybe this is her strong suit.
Had this been the office of Harry Reid that was bugged, or Nancy Pelosi, or any liberal politician, I have no doubt that the msm would be screaming Watergate from the tops of the roofs.  The comparisons would go on into the twilight hours, and the indignation ( real or otherwise) would be thick.
I've read several books about President Nixon.  He seems like he had some genuinely good ideas, but he was more paranoid than a cokehead. It was a third rate burglary, and it was the cover up that killed him.
I can only hope that the msm shows the same zeal in ferreting out the person or people who bugged the McConnell headquarters.  I am not holding my breath.
Does anyone remember the big yawn that Slick Willie received for getting oral sex in the Oval Office?  The pathetic attempts to equate consensual sex with a waste of time were too numerous to count.  They queued up Carville to run the story into the ground, and the msm was only too happy to oblige.
They were all only too happy to ignore that it wasn't about having sex with some pathetic pudgy girl who didn't mind being used sexually.  It was about the perjury he committed. Perjury is a felony. One would think that with two lawyers in the room, that one of them would have realized it. Maybe they missed that day in law school.
Eventually, Clinton settled the case.  Eventually, it was proven that he lied under oath and was disbarred.  Maybe someday the msm will cover the story, but I'm not holding my breath.  Their double standard is hugely evident by the r or the d beside a politicians name.
President George W. Bush never had a honeymoon period with the press.  They were furious that he beat their boy, Al Gore, and they never forgave him for it.  Any mispronunciation was a field day.  Never mind 53 states. Never mind the Marine 'corpse'.
The folks who job it is to tell us all of the news, all of the time have been slacking off.  Luckily, they cannot control the internet (thanks algore) and information is still flowing freely.  That must be why the people who get their news from one of the big three networks is at an all time low.  But the people who are responsible for telling us what is going on with our government, our Republic, and our politicians are not doing their jobs.
Consider the naked bias in the news.  Think about all the vitriol that is spewed toward Fox News for not being left of center. What are they trying to hide from us?  Get the answer to that, and you can thank me later.

Cuba: the Hot New Tourist Location for Left of Center "Celebrities"

Did you know that there is a travel restriction on American citizens traveling to Cuba?  It's one of the useless attempts that the government has employed to punish Castro's regime.  It keeps Cuba as a third world country (along with their insistence on clinging to communism) and ensures the Hollywood liberal world of having a place to go that normal, tax paying citizens will never have.
Sean Penn goes to visit Cuba more times than I can count. He touts the living conditions, the wonderful atmosphere of Cuba.  He tells me what a great guy Fidel was.  I wouldn't give a half cup of cold urine for his opinion, but there you go.  I think he may have gone crazy when his father was black listed for being a communist sympathizer. I could be wrong.
The latest batch of elitists to let themselves be used as propaganda tools are Jayze and Beyonce.  You know that they must be really cool because they don't need a last name. Like Madonna. Like Elvis. Like Satan.  I couldn't really pick either of them out of a lineup, other than she was in the last Austin Powers movie.  The one that wasn't funny.
How does one book a vacation to Cuba anyway?  Much like when those Obama kids got to go to Mexico for Spring Break when regular citizens were advised to stay away from that area, how does one even line up the travel agent?  I doubt that Travelocity or Priceline are booking many trips there.
For that matter, when Penn was making his trips to Venezuela to visit with his favorite dictator, how in the world did he make those arrangements?
Everyone with more than five working brain cells knows that wealthy people are more equal than the rest of us.  The irony is that so many of these celebrities are screaming for the rights of people to all be fair, so long as they can continue to have more rights than the rest of us.
Think about where you spend the few dollars left at the end of the week on entertainment.  You'll thank me later.

Jason Collins vs Kermit Gosnell- Why the Media Won't Stop Talking About One, and Won't Dare Mention the Other

Do you know who Jason Collins is?  I didn't until I googled his stats.  He seems to be a basketball player.  He is middle rank-no superstar, just an average joe athelete being overpaid to play basketball.  Big yawn, right?  That was until Mr. Collins decided that everyone needed to know that he is a homosexual.  I mean everyone.  When my Mom is talking about it, trust me, that is full saturation.  Maybe he can date Magic Johnson's son.  I have been told ad nauseum that he is a homosexual also.
Kermit Gosnell, on the other hand, would appear to be an unethical sleazy piece of work.  Her performed abortions on babies that could have been delivered alive.  He killed-by snipping the necks- babies that managed against all odds to survive their mothers' and Gosnell's best efforts to kill them.
Which one is the media talking about nonstop? If you guessed the homosexual basketball player, stop on over for a free cup of coffee.  Why is that? I've thought about it for a while, and the only answer is simple.
One advances the liberal agenda, and one sets it on its ear.  Jason Collins is a semi known person whom children somewhere have probably asked for an autograph.  He seems to be middle rank, a mediocre player, not a superstar, but not the worst guying out there either.  He is the perfect poster child for the 'homosexuals are everywhere, just accept it' crowd.  He went to college, he is a professional.  If he did anything awful in his past, it will not see the light of day while this love fest is going on.  I find it curious that there haven't been hours of film dedicated to fawning interviews with his parents and family.  Maybe they are shy.  Maybe they are part of the group that doesn't exactly support the homosexual agenda.  African Americans by large numbers disapprove of homosexuality, so who knows?
But if they do approve, or if they just agree to keep their family business to themselves ( a lesson for those children of Micheal Jackson, no?) the msm are staying blissfully quiet on the subject.
The other topic- Kermit Gosnell and his house of Horror is another subject.  The media not only hasn't covered the trial, until social media forced them to acknowledge it they wouldn't  cover the story.  The pictures of the empty media section spoke loudly.  As did the pathetic excuses as to why they weren't covering the story.  My personal favorite? The editor who said that he was 'unaware' of the trial until social media began mentioning it.  How does this guy get to be in charge of anything?
He may want to step outside of his liberal bubble and experience the other 70% of the world.  He can thank me later.

If Micheal Vick Went to Jail for Killing Dogs, What Should Happen to Kermit Gosnell?

I'm watching the msm try to come up with excuses as to why they haven't been covering the disgusting trial of abortionist/ baby killer Kermit Gosnell.  My favorite excuse so far has been that the editor was unaware of the case until people online began asking him why he wasn't covering the story. Um, sure.
If this guy is so out of touch that he is unaware of who Gosnell is, perhaps he should look into that al gore invention-the internet.  It's all the rage.
Micheal Vick is a disgusting excuse for a human being.  I don't care if he has the ability to run with a football, throw a football, or make a football appear out of thin air.  He forced dogs to fight each other to the death, and killed dogs that wouldn't/ couldn't fight well.
The media made such a big deal about this ( as well they should have) and Mr. Vick went to jail.  Not quite for two years, but he did go to jail.  To the National Football League's shame they allowed him to play professional football again.  Felons are okay- unless they are betting on sports.
Kermit Gosnell is evil incarnate.  He ran an abortion clinic that killed many babies that could have lived, even though their mothers' had just tried to kill them.  He did late term abortions, third trimester abortions, partial birth abortions-no baby was safe from Gosnell's reach in his abortion factory.  He even allowed babies that survived every attempt to be murdered to have their spinal cords cuts and then flushed away.  He deserves to go to jail for the rest of his natural life.
But do you hear about this monster on your local news? Nope.  The msm-and their agenda- do not want people to be informed about how horrific a third term abortion is.  If they informed the public about what actually happens to these babies, even b.o. would change his mind about his daughters being "burdened" with an unplanned pregnancy. (His daughters look too much like their mother, I don't think it's going to be a problem.)
Gosnell should go to jail for the rest of his natural life.  Anyone who helped him should go to jail for a long time, also.  Babies were flushed in the toilet. Living, breathing babies were set out to suffer until they died and could be thrown away like so much garbage.  When I think of the people who would love a baby in their lives, any baby- black, white, purple, plaid- it makes me angry that these poor babies were left to die.
While I believe these babies should have been able to have their whole lives to live, I don't think the same applies to Gosnell.  I see no irony in wanting him to stop living because he killed so many others.  He had choices, and he always chose the money he charged these women to kill their babies over the babies who had no choice.  What should happen to Kermit Gosnell?  Think about it, you'll thank me later.
